Bump up - This is a great deal for replacement or backup for the right person. Just want to get it a home to end user.

Please no more flippers who try to get a "best price" while they have your item listed for sell on another platform. I'm super happy to negotiate for an end user that needs.

Some of the advantages of selling to a “Flipper” is you get your money and you never hear back from him on that particular item. He knows what he bought and he is happy with his purchase and often already has a home for it. Simple secure transaction and the piece is gone. Think of it as “absolute insulation” between you and the end user for a small fee, that in this particular case, the “Flipper” would be paying. Without the insulation a potential scenario is an end user buys the unit from you and the numbers don’t match his STC, but he didn’t think about that prior to making his purchase, or he has no STC, and he wants his money back from you and more likely than not he will ask for his shipping to be refunded as well. OR, another scenario is, the same buyer reaches out to Aspen, and not you, and asks about getting that STC transferred, or getting a new STC, and finds out that in order to “legally” install the used unit he has to return the unit for re-certification and that it’s going to cost him $4,500, at the same time Aspen offers him a re-certified unit off of the shelf, with probably the same warranty as a new unit for the exact same cost as a re-certification. Guess who gets a call wanting their money back, again! I know a few “flippers”, resellers or wholesellers as I call them, that do business on this forum. Most contribute monthly to the BT Kitty, if they don’t, they should be, and I have bought from all of them I think. I personally don’t know a much about avionics, so when I do buy something used, or repurposed, I typically reach out to those “flippers” for advice on my purchase. Call Aspen and ask them what is the only legal way to reuse an Aspen and then you will have the same knowledge as the “Flippers” do.
Frank

I get it and depending on the flipper I'm, open but transparency is best. If your gonna flip it say so and don't delay a deal by asking if I will hold it and accidentally text me pushing me to commit to buying the very same item - just asked for me to hold and figure out postage !
Flippers openly in the business of using the forum to help them get their customers what they need is perfectly fine with me.
My two cents!
