I am selling a Garmin GNS-480 WAAS GPS nav/com in excellent condition.
It has to be the lowest time GNS480 on the planet. I bought it in 2016, with only 20 hours on it. It's got 302 hours on it now. When not in use in the plane, I keep it in an air conditioned avionics locker.
The buttons, power/volume/CRSR knobs, and faceplate have no wear. The screen is perfect, including the anti-glare coating. The unit appears as brand new. It has a new memory battery, and it's been freshly serviced & tested for trouble-free operation.
It will come with: A spare datacard, another card with the latest version 2.4 software, the original GNS480 Pilot's Manual, the QREF GNS480 quick ref guide, and a copy of the Avionics West GNS480 tips manual.
Most of these units have been sitting in planes for as long as 20 years, in the case of the original CNX80. Hot and cold cycles age the electronics.
This GPS on the other hand hasn't suffered in those conditions. This is a rare opportunity to get a super low time unit, which has had exceptional care.
The price is $3900 including insured shipping by Fedex 3 day service.
