I bought a Sporty's PJ2 so it's time for this classic Icom to go to a new home. It has been a rock-solid, fool-proof, easy to use radio. Battery still has lots of life, and the speaker still gets plenty loud to carry all the way across a hangar row.
I just tried tuning SoCal Approach and transmissions are coming through perfectly even from inside a house. I heard Horizon 2437 loudly and clearly confirm an altitude instruction while they were 30 miles to the southeast at 15,000', headed for SAN. After that, I heard Southwest 2124 checking in at 22,000', 11 miles west.
You'll get the radio, battery, antenna, and the desktop charging base with power cord.
Price: $120 shipped, lower 48, after prompt payment via Venmo, Zelle, or PayPal F&F.
