Is there any factory warranty remaining? I sold my 530 last year for $6500 when I put an IFD-540 in my Baron.

I suspect my shop has a 530 tray and connectors. One more advantage is no sales tax All that being said, probably won't sell unless I give it away, which I won't. Jg

Derek,
I hope the slow down is mostly seasonal, but the other two sources reporting a slow down were not in avionics and, I doubt, seasonally affected. A "slow down" to normalcy would be nice.
The supply chains affecting my business, building maintenance, are definitely improved. I even have a new laborer starting Monday. He is pure unskilled labor: $15.00 an hour.

After a couple hours you won't go back. Especially for IFR. I was facing this exact choice last week, and went with the GTN-650Txi. The tipping point was getting Smart Glide capability. With the GFC-500 A/P the plane pitches for best glide, determines if any airports are in range, and pops a pushbutton reminder for squawking 7700.
