I’m selling my Airhorse tug. These things are super cool airplane movers. It’s got a 12 horse Kohler engine (Recommended TBO is infinity), no leaks and everything works except the parking brake. I don’t know what year it is but it’s a lot closer to old than it is new.

It weighs 1200 pounds is just over 10’ long and will fit in the back of a long bed pickup with the tailgate down. It’s at LL45 in Gillespie, IL. I’m asking $3000 OBO.

So when you are pushing something back you sit on the cushion on top of the hood and control or drive it that way sitting basically backwards?

Does it have a centrifugal clutch at the engine crankshaft?

And a direct drive transaxle instead of a hydrostatic transaxle with accompanying slippage?

A hydraulic pumps runs the grappler?

If this is like the air Deere with a hydrostat transmission then this is screaming deal.

You sit on the pad and steer, the jaws scoop up the tire jaws adjust for size, very very capable and quality unit in the air Deere guise I can’t imagine this is any less.

Only question is why are you selling and what are you replacing it with?

Correct you sit on the hood facing backwards and drive from there. It is a hydrostatic drive with the control by your left knee. It has a separate hydraulic pump which runs the lift and grapple cylinders with its control by your right knee. It is a pretty slick setup.

I have a Supertow 2 and for the kind of airplane tetris that I play it is a better tool.
