It's at Aircraft Specialties finishing up a fresh yellow-tag. M02. Balanced. Magnafluxed.

I was going to use it as the base for an IO-540 build, but I found out from Lycoming that it only fits the TIO-540-S1AD that fits a Piper PA-32R-301T (Turbo Lance).

$8,500 obo

You or someone else could still use that crank in an experimental without having to run the less desirable single drive double mag.

Just mount a standard single mag and use electronic ignition w/ coil packs in place of the other. Just requires a trigger device on the ring gear support. Of course you will have to use the single mag drive gears and accessory housing.

Actually, I'm going 100% SDS EFI. No mags.

I've been talking to Steve at Aircraft Specialties and Monty at Divco, and it seems going that direction requires modifications that end up being more expensive on the case side of the equation, and I might end up with a one-off case/crank combo that prevents me from using off-the-shelf parts in the future. Essentially, I can't find any information on what case to use if I decide to use this crank. I'd really like to use it as its built like a tank.

The tricky part is that my F-1 requires a parallel valve motor. Wide-deck or narrow-deck doesn't matter. I can't get any information at all out of Lycoming except the stock answer of "That only fits a TIO-540-S1AD, and will not work for any other TIO or IO-540 applications."

I don't necessarily believe that the crank couldn't be used, but Monty and Steve aren't 100% sure either, so I decided to follow a more well-trodden path.
