PS Engineering PMA 450B w/o Marker Beacons
I purchased this brand new and only opened it for the photos. My original plan of upgrading has changed and I am going to have to postpone my upgrade for a bit.
$2,295 plus shipping. I can ship ASAP.

If you have an older audio panel, you might be surprised by how much improvement this unit offers. I'm still torn. I would be 100% the PMA450B if I have the panel space. If I can sell it, great to someone else. If not, I'll figure out a way to use it.

I have a PS Engineering 7000B. Does anyone know how much install work would be required to upgrade to this 450 unit?

Bob Quite a bit. The 7000B uses a different kind of connector (Molex I think) than the PS 450B (HD DSUB), so you would have to rewire entirely or at the very least cut all the wires from the existing connectors and crimp on the DSUB pins for insertion into the 450B's connector housings. Depending on the length of service loop in your existing harness, this could be tedious work. There are probably additional features of the 450B that require extra wires than what your 7000B has, so you'd also likely need to run those extra wires. For example the 450B has stereo for the headsets, whereas the 7000B does not. That's an extra wire per station.

Does the kit include the custom made wiring harness? Would definitely make it a good deal if it does. GLWTS!

G Wouldn't the custom made wiring kit be dependent on your panel layout?
