The starter and alternator came off a Continental IO-360. Both were inspected and overhauled by a local armature shop and guaranteed to work on arrival to the new owner. No 8130 as the shop is not an aviation repair station so discuss with your mechanic. At a minimum, they are cheap, overhauled “cores” to have on the shelf.

The starter is a Delco model 1108234 which should fit 24v 520/550 engines but do your homework.

The alternator is a gear-driven model not suitable for our 520/550s. Picture and model coming soon.

The engine is going back in a 14v aircraft so this starter and alternator are excess to my needs. Hopefully they can be put to good use.
