Username Protected wrote: Any more hanging around? I stopped at an airport in TN that had (very) active birds, they tried to build a nest in an afternoon visit! I'd never had a problem anywhere else I'd ever flown. I went to WalMart and bought a couple of small kids' pillows. One was Sponge Bob, and some other critter. Put one on each side, which plugged the entrance, but also exposed the faces of the pillow critters. FBO guys had fun watching the birds react as they tried to fly toward the aircraft and abort mission. They were hard to miss but I also put a "chip clip" on the yoke as a "remove before flight" final reminder. I kept them in a trash bag in the back of the airplane until I sold it. They were also good for wedging the back door open in the wind. Bonus: easy to spot your airplane on the ramp! Probably not a good option for long term ramp storage, great for overnight parking/trips. Dan
