Contact Peter at peter@peterdevri.es directly with questions For sale is a McCauley C409 Prop, 3-blade suitable for an IO-550 equipped A36. Price: $4,000 or best offer. Prop specs: Model: D3A32C409-C Serial: 960189 TTSNEW: 2315.4 - Complete logs since new (1996) Life limit: 10,000 hrs. TSOH: 1695.2 Includes Chrome spinner Location: KPAE - Snohomish County, state of Washington (near Seattle) This prop was recently removed from my 1996 A36. This prop was original to the airplane and was overhauled once many years ago. Complete logs, no known damage history. It was operating perfectly when removed and is in current annual. I removed it to upgrade to the MT prop. The prop has the TKS boots on it installed by CAV for the TKS system. It is missing the TKS slinger ring as the nozzles developed some cracking and it had to be disposed of: if you want to use this prop for TKS equipped Bonanza, you will need to buy that piece. Can ship using the crate my new prop arrived in which appears to be tailor made for shipping props. You arrange shipping and insurance though. Cost new: Apparently 14.5k, see https://mccauley.txtav.com/en/products? ... 550-B+(TCM)

Heya folks, I'm on BeechTalk also.. sorry, didn't have the forum karma apparently to make a new post in this forum . I've got a link with complete logbooks and the 8310 from the last overhaul in 2002. Make an offer! Prop was working fine when it came off, it could use an overhaul on the years in service side... I am happy to discount the price appropriately if an immediate overhaul discovers any latent issues.

Hello. If my current prop (save prop) does not have TKS, can it be removed from your prop? Or can I add TKS to my plane to make it work? Thanks! Phil

This thing is still sitting on my hangar floor.. make offers please . Re: TKS boots. I don't think they hurt anything if you don't have TKS, it just some additional rubber-like pieces near the blade roots to allow the TKS to work better. I would imagine they could be removed if you want to remove them to clean up the look a bit....
