Left Engine from N55HD - 1977 Beech E55
IO520CB Serial 1033759
5.5 yrs and 450 hours since FACTORY OH
complete log
flew 160 hours in last 9 months
was flying 4 weeks ago when Right engine came up for overhaul
Decided to swap 'em both at once
No prop strikes or damage
have 3 consecutive Blackstone oil analysis
ran with DeShannon baffles, initial climb CHT in summer 360, cruise 330-340

I've been told this engine could be converted to a I0520BB with oil pan swap, but that is way above my pay grade.

Can email log and photos, came off the plane Friday 8-26-2022

swap out the sump , fuel system , engine mount ears , baffles Do a -C stamp on the dataplate , notate it in the logbook

Thank you for feedback ! I've gotten a lot of interest, mostly from folks wanting to convert to a BB. all use the same language you did. One (un-named) person said you need to change the case through bolts. I cannot imagine why this would be true. What say you on this topic?

The CB may have longer through bolts to accommodate the engine mounts on the upper aft side of case. Those mount feet are not there on the BB, as all 4 mount feet are on the bottom.

Hey just looking around for a spare engine how much are you looking to get for this engine.
Trying to work out options as last engine I bought was factory new from air power. It was a process dealing with them during COVID.

Only the top hole in the upper mount legs use a through bolt. The other two attach points for each mount leg are studs.
