Anyone have an old Collins Comm VHF-251 lying around? My decimal digits have burnt out on my comm 2. Looking for a simple and cheap replacement (slide in and slide out).

Just change the digits. I have a couple of non-functioning units bought on eBay that I just scavenge the digits

Easy to do they just pull out. You need very small Allen wrenches to get the knobs off the front. Then it is a couple of screws to remove the face to get to the digits

I have one that I just pulled out of a K35. I also have the matching Nav. Text me if you’re interested. 321-223-1853. Spiros
