Almost new, removed from IO-550, 100 hours TT, not required. -10 hoses, full kit. Free shipping. Someone can use it for sure. $595 at Spruce so save a few bucks on me.

Which one is it? Looks like there are two for the IO-550 depending upon model.

Should have firesleeve on hoses

Use Teflon assys and reduce your o.d. By 20% over rubber

It screws right on to the oil pad.

For Guy's hose comment, the $595 from Spruce is without hoses so throw them away and stop stepping on people's ads. It's not polite. If you aren't buying it then shut up.

Is this unit for experimental aircraft only or does it come with the permission statement from Airwolf for certified aircraft which is needed for the 337?

Thanks for posting the model.
Discussed with Airwolfe.
So from AirWolfe this F model would only fit the ones listed in their doc for specific 520 and 550 engines
and not be applicable for a the 470 engine.

Their install guide encompasses all of those K008 series and has notations about the different areas, but the adapter kit for a C model includes the mounting hardware to replace the oil filter screen.

The F model has the connection to replace the factory Continental oil filter.

And doesn't seem you can just buy the darned C adapter and swap out that 1 F part to make it work.

Too bad for me. and my G.

this is weird because it comes off the io-550 and this is the instruction page attached. I'll talk to Airwolf and get the scoop. No point in sending something that won't fit.

Called Airwolf who says this unit does fit the 470 with the spin-on pad. And the install sheet above shows all 470s. They said they would be happy to sell an adapter pad if needed. So, not sure why they told you something different. Anyway, this is the spin on adapter in this kit. Still available.
