Attachment: GREG GORDON 182 PANEL CRP - RS.jpg Just upgraded my C-182 to a GTN 750 and all the other goodies, 2 G5s Garmin 500 Autopilot etc. (24 V) I now have two Nav Coms, one Non-Glideslope VOR Indicator, an audio panel w /marker beacon receiver, transponder and encoder, autopilot parts, artificial horizon, DG and vacuum pump. Can anyone recommend an avionics shop that might take this stuff it and give some credit toward some other avionics equipment I want to buy, or should I just part it out and offer all the parts for sale on eBay? Best use of older equipment is a buyer who can slide in your working radio to replace his that has failed. Radios of this vintage are in a “swap, don’t fix” status now.
Avionics shops want to sell and install new equipment. Buyers don’t want to pay $$$ to wire in old radios. But sliding in your radio as a swap to a broken, identical model makes sense.
I’d say list here on BT with a deadline and after that go eBay. Hopefully a buyer will find you.

Lots of good advice here. You probably could put that photo and a list with prices here on BT and see what sells. I'm not sure if you are selling the DME but that has some non-zero value. I would think that the instruments would as well, radios/audio panel/transponder will be interesting only for others wanting a slide-in replacement for identical hardware that has failed. Put it here first then eBay Donating whatever does not sell to an aviation charity and presumably taking the write-off was also a creative suggestion.

I would love to have the two radios. I have them in my aircraft and could use them immediately.

Everything was in working order when it was removed, except for the last digit on the no, 2 nav. Worked fine, just had to monitor the local VOR and then click from there to get to the right final frequency. Haven't opened it to replace the LED. Since they all are out of the plane, not easy to power them up for new pictures. The DME has been repositioned in the 182 for additional back up, so that is not available. I am also putting the old intercom to use in another plane.

Most all of this is sellable by you on these sights as long as you don't ask too much. Shop most likely will not want or give you much. I'd suggest just getting them all back and selling after your upgrade.
