Laid it on the floor, ran the cord out the pilot side window, plugged the rest of the opening with one of those neck pillows to keep the heat in over night. Temperatures were down to single digits next morning, but when I opened the door to the plane, it felt like about 50 degrees inside! It is awesome for cold weather flying and warming up the cabin! Highly recommend for those that live/fly in the cold! Thanks David. I picked up one of these and then decided to sell them because they put out the right amount of heat for a small aircraft cabin size without putting out a ton of power that is more risky to your electrical circuit. I am a big proponent of pre-heating and preparing an aircraft for flight and this is part of my process and philosophy.

My hi-tech method. An old pillow from the house I would deny to my wife that I took!
