I picked one of these up from James a couple of weeks ago. Was perfect timing for getting it to use it right away prior to a flight. Laid it on the floor, ran the cord out the pilot side window, plugged the rest of the opening with one of those neck pillows to keep the heat in over night. Temperatures were down to single digits next morning, but when I opened the door to the plane, it felt like about 50 degrees inside! It is awesome for cold weather flying and warming up the cabin! Highly recommend for those that live/fly in the cold!

Thanks David. I picked up one of these and then decided to sell them because they put out the right amount of heat for a small aircraft cabin size without putting out a ton of power that is more risky to your electrical circuit. I am a big proponent of pre-heating and preparing an aircraft for flight and this is part of my process and philosophy.

I just received more Tanis cabin heaters in stock. These work perfectly with SwitcheOn and are PMA approved. You can keep them portable or I also have a companion kit in stock to permanently install it in your aircraft. Price is still the same at $380 (amazing huh?) plus shipping.

I have several more Tanis cabin heaters in stock and they are an exceptional way to preheat your cabin safely and effectively for the winter. I just plugged mine in for the winter. Pics to come when I get back out there.

My hi-tech method. An old pillow from the house I would deny to my wife that I took!
