I'm looking for original Whelen wingtip strobe units (90028). Preferably the complete package (flash tube assembly and power supply), but would consider incomplete units as well.

1970 F33A 14V

Someone somewhere must have done an upgrade and has these units lying around, and want to sell.

Shipping will be to New York. Thank You

How quickly are you looking to get it? I'm planning to upgrade mine, but it's about 2 months out. It's the complete system (strobes, power supply, and you can have the wiring too if you want). I'm not sure if it's the original model though, but do know it's a 14/28V input so should work for you regardless.

Thank you Alex, I’m in no hurry at all so sometime within the next 2 to 6 months would be perfect.

I’ll send you a PM during the week to discuss details of that’s okay.

Thanks again, Darryl

I’ve got the Grimes unit removed from my 74 F33A. All working when removed for LED upgrade. Complete with nav lights and power pack. $250 plus shipping.

Thank you Chris, I will send you a PM to ask for further information as I'm not familiar with the Grimes units.

If your present strobes are inop, go LED. You’ll be glad you did.

A de-Bonanza is still better than a de-Bonair.
