SwitcheOn is a must have device for winter preheating (or other remote power solutions) application. If you do not have wifi at your hangar this is a MUST have for winter pre-heating. I can't tell you how long I've been waiting for something like this to come along and I have been incredibly pleased with its performance. Guess how many returns I have had from unsatisfied customers? Zero. www.gallagheraviationllc.com/Switcheon- ... _c_50.html <-- Order here 1-833-425-5288 <-- Call me here gallagheraviationllc@gmail.com <-- Email me here

James,
My Switcheon recently went offline. When I went to the hangar, it was displaying the QRC code and wanted me to use the app to I guess reinitialize it. It did come back on line, but I also noticed it was updating something, and then displayed the QRC code again. Seems to be working fine now. Any idea what was going on?

It was probably pushing a firmware update. Did you have it unplugged during the summer?

Username Protected wrote: James, do these devices need a SIM card? Whom does one buy the recurring annual $50 subscription from?
Nice design. Love the features. Hi Joe, the SIM card is built in to run off the Verizon network and when you download the app you input your payment information for service renewal after a year.
We purchased one of these earlier this year, and have used it a few times. It works fantastic and really looking forward to not having make a special trip hangar just to hook up the Tanis heater for preheat. We just plug it in when we put the plane away. When we have a flight scheduled, pull up the app on our phones a couple of hours ahead of time and hit the button to switch it on. Best part it that it shows that it has been activated, so you aren't guessing if it worked or not. Show up to the hangar and have a preheated engine! Plan to do the same with a small heater in the cockpit. Great product and overall time and money saver!

SwitcheOn is incredibly popular and I have an excellent inventory, ready to ship! You can order SwitcheOn off my website below. If you are just powering a single engine block, then a 2 channel device will work great. Be sure you check your amperage because there are limitations with SwitcheOn. A Tanis or Reiff preheater only needs the 15 amp version but if you are utilizing an Aerotherm, I recommend the 20 amp device. www.gallagheraviationllc.com/Switcheon- ... _c_50.html <-- Order here 1-833-425-5288 <-- Call me here gallagheraviationllc@gmail.com <-- Email me here

The only question I have is there a way to confirm the unit switched on or off. Maybe I missed something when I read through the paperwork. I'm heading back over to the hangar today to activate and deactivate just for peace of mind. When the app shows the switch is dark green, that means it is on. When it is light green, that means the command has been sent to turn on. Light grey, the command to turn off has been sent. Dark grey, it is off.
