Hi Everyone!
I lowered the price for you guys before I list it on EBAY.
I have an S-TEC 55X autopilot out of a Beech 35-A33. It is complete, 2 Axis, Auto-trim and annunciator. It has the recent 8130 tags and all documentation.
The ideal buyer is someone who is looking to upgrade their 14V panel over time and wants an autopilot that would accommodate new and old systems easily.
MSRP is over $20,000USD, I am asking for less than half that: $7,000USD This is an incredible deal if you have a similar aircraft.
The 55X comes with the following features: • Case contained, radio stack mount • GPSS (GPS Roll Steering) • Heading preselect & hold* • Altitude hold with optional altitude trim • Course intercept capability • NAV mode • Dual mode-HDG/NAV & HDG/APR • VOR/LOC/GS/REV/GPS coupling with 3 gain levels • Selectable coupling gains • VOR/LOC/GS/REV/GPS course deviation and NAV flag warning • Digital vertical speed command • Pitch trim annunciation • Control wheel steering Included is STC paperwork for 14V BEECH 35-A33 (STC- SA08999AC-D) S-Tec has STCs on this autopilot for 100s of aircraft • System 55X Computer Programmer • Turn coordinator • Roll Servo • Pitch Servo • Trim Servo • Pressure Transducer • Cable Assemblies • Installation/Hardware kit • STC Documentation package • 8130-3 Yellow Tags
Q&A
Is this a good reliable autopilot? Comes highly recommended with an excellent track record. Rock-solid reliable approaches.
I have a 28V system will this work for me: Sadly, No. They are not convertible.
I have a, 14V Cessna, would this system work for me? Yes, however, some hardware may have to be ordered. Genesys, would of course rather sell you a brand new autopilot and may charge a premium on these parts. I have priced the autopilot with this in mind.
What you would need in addition to this purchase?: An STC/ Installation instruction documentation package must be purchased ($1595) through an S-Tec dealer. If you operate a similar aircraft that should be it. I
Why would I not go with a Garmin autopilot that is brand new for a similar price? I priced this similar to the Garmin unit, with annunciator and trim functions. The advantage with the 55x is that can work with both analog and digital systems. Allowing you to keep your existing avionics and upgrade them over time. I have priced it less than this upgrade for similar features.
Any more pictures or PNs? Sure send me a message and I can send them your way.
Are you willing to take trades? Sure, anything of similar value but no exotic animals, please. There was an incident with an emu once.
Send me a direct message if you're interested. I have it listed on other places at a higher price.
Thanks!
Mark
