The Orion 500 LED position and tail light is one of the most popular lights I sell due to its quality design and very competitive price through our company! We have a great stock that is ready to ship. The Model OR5001V is the 14V version The Model OR5002V is the 28V version These lights will fit most Beechcraft model aircraft. https://www.gallagheraviationllc.com/wh ... hting.html <--- Website 1-833-425-5288 <--- Call me here gallagheraviationllc@gmail.com <--- Email me here

If you have the original strobe + position light (1989 F33a in my case) what re-wiring needs to be done. It looks as if the existing 28V power for the tail position light would power the LED position light but then must a 2nd 28V line need to be run to the 500, and then how would the operation be controlled by the existing strobe power switch? Do you need to add a new switch just for power to the tail strobe?

Do you need to add a new switch just for power to the tail strobe? The LED light's power is self contained and the strobe power pack must be removed or it must be bi-passed for the Orion 500 to work. The Orion 500 has two power wires. One for the strobes and one for the position lights. The 28V installation guide is attached.

I installed mine with supervision and a little help from an A&P. You may have to make a new little end plate for the stinger like I did.
