This is a rare collector's piece....signed limited edition print #545/1000, and autographed by F4U Corsair legends (all 4 now deceased) Captain Tom Blackburn, Rear Admiral Roger Hedrick, Lieutenant Dan Cunningham, Lieutenant Tom Killefer. Meticulously matted and framed under non-glare glass. Total frame size 37.2 X 25.5 inches. Description: F4U Corsairs of Navy Squadron VF-17 – Tom Blackburn's 'Jolly Rogers' – return from an air battle over Rabaul, December 1943. FIGHTING 17 was the top-scoring squadron in the Solomons. Published in 1993.Original, plastic wrapped Certificate of Authenticity in perfect condition included. You can open the photo of the Certificate and zoom in to read about the 4 (autograph) legends. Rats! Out Flying- Looked too late! Beautiful Really Great Piece My Dad flew Corsairs and Ferried one of the 12 F2G’s out of Goodyear .... when it was Brand New. Mission was to a then secret Radar Installation site near Norfolk
