I was in the pattern with one other aircraft tonight. I called my position crossing midfield, then turning downwind. As the other aircraft turned crosswind he saw me immediately. “Can’t miss you. You’re lit up like a Christmas tree”. “That’s my Whelen LEDs” I replied.
