Hi Folks, Anyone want a Garmin UAT ADSB data link unit, with rack and the little APM device?? No antennae, what you see in the photos is all. I bought it for ADSB traffic in, but it simply does not work here in Australia. OK for the US though. I have not tested it, but the seals are intact and all looks OK. If I can get US$350, I'll cover the freight to US from Aussie.
Over to you...
Cheers

I had two of these. They worked perfect for weather and traffic on my GMX-200. Too bad garmin never developed the software for 2020 compliance, because I think the hardware is, but never certified.

If someone wants weather and traffic via RS422 and they already have ES transponder, this will work great.

I can't find anything on the settings, but can ADS-B "transmit" be disabled, thus turning this into a receiver only?

If so, I would take it. Otherwise, with it being a transmitter as well, and having ADS-B here in the states already, I'm worried it would give conflicting double returns to ATC and even yourself?

The

The GdL 90 transmitting with a SIL of 0, the ATC System will ignore it.

It will work fine. And yes, the transmitter can be disabled via config software.

That's awesome! I just want something to interface with my GMX200 for traffic and weather. I already have a Trig TT31 for ADS-B "out" coupled to the 530w, so I just need something for "In".

Can I put a diplexer on the existing antennas or do I need to run the factory antennas (both GPS and both upper and lower UAT)?

PM sent to OP for purchasing info.

Thanks, Kurt!

You need the upper and lower UAT antennas, which can be the RAMI AV74 blade type. And the A33 GPS antenna, or a GA35 GPS antenna. Diplexers don't work in this case.
