What’s the background on the light, has been in a box since 1988?, was it in service in an aircraft for a period of time? Can you post a picture of the model number that should be stamped on the housing. It seems to be missing the mounting flange.

Kent, I believe I have a mounting flange from another beacon that I will throw in. This was an Army Overhaul. They always sealed up any place on the main housing that could let water and moisture in. A BIG reason why these would fail in the first place. There's no Model # visible. It's been stored in a box and on a shelf for years. We powered it up and it turned freely and continuously and both bulbs work. For sale at $400.00 plus $25.00 Shipping. There's a NEW one on eBay for $2,000.00.... Gregg

Thanks Gregg. I’m looking for a Grimes G-7740. If this doesn’t sell I’ll give you $250 for it.
