I have two NEW Whelen 7188800 14V recognition lights. I had four but I installed one each in my wing tips, so there are two left. Why I got four, because that was the deal to get two These are 14V lights and they will not work on a 28V system. Sorry! $199.99 each plus $15 shipping. Aircraft Spruce charges $275.95 per light. James

If I wanted to add these to my A36, I'm assuming I'd also need to change my wingtips to the more modern style - or is there a way to convert mine? Attachment: IMG_20190501_093302.jpg

Attachment: IMG_20190501_093302.jpg Hi John, I'm no expert when it comes to converting wing tips but a previous owner to my M-35 put later style wing tips on my Bonanza allowing more room for that strobe/position light and the recognition light I installed. If you want to do what I did, you will need more room in there.

Good luck on the sale. Seems like a good price to me. Thanks John, 15% lower than anyone else is a good price!

John, Not a lot of help for James, but I have the same wingtips as you and have just fitted them with the Whelan combined LED Nav' and strobe lights. Not enough room for the recognition lights or I would have fitted those as well. Speedbird 1.
