I have two sets of these that come complete from top to bottom including plug, harness, top case heated pad, oil pan heated pad, and 6 cylinder heaters that go in the CHT threaded probe slots except for one that is missing on one side, not sure where it went but we might find it. My C55 has pre-heaters so I don't need these. 800 hours since installed in 2014. For those unfamiliar, it's 115V, gets plugged into a hangar wall outlet and it does the heating for you. It doesn't connect to your aircraft's electrical system at all. Tanis says it can be used not only in the cylinder well plug but if you have an engine monitor it says it can use the rocker cover screw? I think one of these was threaded that way, but most were in cylinder wells as it didn't have an engine monitor. Thanks, https://www.tanisaircraft.com/product/p ... l-2927-115I'll get pictures when I get home tomorrow. Take one set or both. Shipping included. $450 each. I don't think I have any of the paperwork for these, but I'll see if I can find anything. Original airframe logs went to George (who bought the airframe) and I haven't found them in the STC paperwork bags yet, but I haven't finished going through it all as of yet for engine stuff. Tanis charges $1,200 a set for these. Get them more than 50% off.

Sorry. Late night posting. The one that is nearly new and complete with all cylinder heater elements is $575. It has 5 CHT probe heaters and one of the rocker cover bolt types for a total of 6. The one that is still in very good shape but missing one of the cylinder elements (the rocker cover bolt heater) is $450. Both of the rocker cover heater elements were at the #1 position on the IO-520-CB's they came off of (hottest left side rear) where the Alcor CHT probe was at.

Kurt They're used. One is pretty dang new-ish, the other looks it's age (4 years, 800 hours from best I can tell on the engine logs). Oil pads upper and lower were carefully scraped from the pan/top with a razor blade and heat up just fine. They'll need high temp flexible adhesive to put back on and should be fine.

Set 2: $450 Missing heater probe on #1 cyl. Ragged areas around heat pad isn't the heating material, but rather the adhesive where it peeled off.

Bump. It's winter! Get 'em before they go to the eBay wolves. If anyone has any overhauled IO-520 cylinders, new exhaust valves, new pistons, and/or new rings, I'll do a partial trade. Also in the market for an IO-520 heavy case overhauled or guaranteed rebuildable. (Don't ask, a certain well-known engine case repair shop is not on my happy list at the moment).

They just call it a "Continental 6 cylinder" kit. https://www.tanisaircraft.com/product/p ... l-2927-115You'll need alumimum RTV which is available at Spruce, it's a high-aluminum content adhesive so the pan heating elements actually conduct heat. Otherwise it should be everything you need, minus one cylinder bayonet which you can get from Tanis fairly cheaply.

Yes. I was considering keeping them both to put on my Duke, especially the pan heaters, but haven't decided yet. Make me an offer and talk me out of it.
