Does this engine have the 4 or 3 ring pistons installed?

I would hate to see this happen to a complete engine, but I'm pretty those pistons and cylinders would work on the IO 470 K.

A few of mine are the 727 on my IO 470 K.

I just dont know if there are other things involved that might make then not suitable.

Just throwing that out there as a possible other option to pursue.

Part out the cylinder kits and accessories and get the same money (or better).

Again, hate to see this happen to a complete engine.

The things I would do to buy this now are unmentionable....

I hope this goes to someone who would appreciate it like I would. :bud:

Agreed. I wish I needed one, but probably won't for another decade. (Knock
on wood). Just keep bumping it and somebody will grab it.

The E cylinders have all 7/16 inch attachment studs and through bolts. The IO470K has 1/2 inch through bolts. The holes for the through bolts could be drilled out but the PNs for the cylinders are different. Otherwise the cylinders are the same.
