We purchased a RB25A 12/24v portable GPU battery when we operated a Cessna 414 for an "in case" start battery in cold weather. We never had to use it for a start but instead used it for database updates and training on avionics. It is a 12/24v convertable model, standard GA plug. Charger, paperwork included. Just over a year old. Reason for sale is we sold the 414, the bosses 182 does not have a external ground power plug, and the amperage is not high enough for a start on our King Air. I have the price quote we paid as $1900 plus freight. Will sell for $1600 shipped OBO. https://www.redboxaviation.com/product/ ... ak-at-24v/Ledzep152@gmail.com for pictures.

It holds a charge well, as seen in the pictures above it is +25 volts after sitting for over a month. Every few months I put it on the charger for a few hours but as noted the system was barely used.
No alligator clips, the plug is for GA aircraft.

How well does it hold a charge; battery condition? Lead acid or lithium?
