I tried to replace the big o ring on my GABB cap with M25988/1-339, but it seemed slightly larger than the Nitrile that was currently on there. Should it be a snug fit? I'm wondering if M25988/1-338 would fit more securely. Thoughts?

I'm wondering if M25988/1-338 would fit more securely. Thoughts? Nope, keep that -339. That nitrile ring is probably a -338 because when the last person took it apart and put it on, it looked small. Plus the IPC calls for a -339 size o-ring. So reassemble the fuel cap with that -339 o-ring on it and it will be nice and snug. That fuel cap "pops" the -339 o-ring out so it creates a bulbous fit.

It has been a while since I have visited this thread but these fluorosilicone fuel cap o-ring kits are probably the best value you will ever get for your Beech. We have shipped thousands of these kits and have an excellent inventory of all of them ready to go. Below is the new link to our website and if you are not sure what to get, email us a photo of the top and bottom of your fuel cap and I'll let you know what you have. I installed mine in 2016 and they are still going strong! https://www.gallagheraviationllc.com/Ai ... _c_36.html <-- Link to website. gallagheraviationllc@gmail.com <-- Email 1-833-425-5288 <-- Call, leave a voicemail if I do not answer please 513-401-6495 <-- Call/Text/MMS, lease a voicemail if I do not answer please
