I purchased the beech BCW yoke mount, installed it yesterday, so showing a few pic's and info on what I used. I have a gen6 iPad so it is a normal size ipad, and I had it in a RAM EZ-Roll'R mount, which had been mounted to the center part of the throw-over yoke. That RAM mount had the 4-hole AMPS mount to attach to the BCW mount, however it was a little too wide and hit each side of the control horn wheel. So I found a RAM base (mine uses the 1 inch ball or so called B ball size) that has the B-ball on the 4 hole AMPS mount, PN RAM-B-347U (about $9.00). I had to get 1/2 long 8/32 screws as the 1/4 inch long screws provided were too short. I also ordered a shorter "dog bone" or Double Socket mount than the medium size I had, that is a RAM-B0201U-A for about $16.00. That was much cheaper way to go than the MyGoFlight parts noted in this thread. 2 pictures below. The short dog-bone mount lets me move the iPad up or down or around as needed. Just did a short flight with it but it seem fine and got the iPad out of the area where it was blocking stuff in the bottom center of the panel.

Hello,
I am looking for something I can attach to the swivel point on my "throw over" yoke. I don't wish to be too invasive but something I can mount my Ipad mini on.
Is there such a beast?
Unicorn and tooth fairy?
Thanks,
Rusty

Rusty Check out the Cygnet flight desk. It attaches to the center point on the yoke. It is intended as a writing desk, but a little bit of velcro and it works very well as an iPad mount. I like that it is unobtrusive and doesn't block a large part of the panel.
