Hi James, do the washer kits include the cotter pins needed for cap reassembly after washer install? Thanks.

Hi Jack,

They do not but the fluorosilicone o-ring fuel cap kits I also sell ($15 each) do come with the correct cotter key for them.

Not durable at all! I’ve had 2 break so far, one the first time it was opened, the second less than six months later

I had a similar experience the first time I opened the cap after installing the Marsh washers, but that was due to my not having removed the steel washer in the cap (operator error). After having removed the steel washers, the Marsh washers have been phenomenal. I'll add so was the help and service from Gallagher Aviation!

Mike, does your fuel cap have a little bump on the fuel cap where the washer sits? We have seen them crack if they have that on the cap.

I just sent you an email so we can get this fixed.

I have an excellent inventory of these Marsh Brothers Aviation fuel cap washer kits for all fuel cap types. As our aircraft age, taking care of your fuel caps becomes more and more important considering the expense to replacing some of these parts, which are becoming harder to get.

For the fuel cap washers, you can buy them as a pack of 1, 2, 3, or 4. If you have two fuel caps like many Bonanza owners, get the 2 cap pack. If you're looking to buy my fluorosilicone fuel cap kits, one cap kit does one fuel cap when ordering.

I want to pick up some new washers to replace my tired stock ones, but not sure which fuel caps I have (Shaw, Gabb or Parker). How do I determine which ones to order? Plane is a 1978 Bonanza V35B #D10106, and Beech part # would be 427-8 I believe.

Just open one of your fuel caps and look at the under side of the cap, the model number is cast right in.

Phil,

For a 1978 Bonanza you're going to have Shaw type fuel caps. Link is below and they are in stock.
