These are used so the STC paper work would have applied to the airplane they were installed on previously and that doesn’t transfer to a different serial number aircraft, it must be purchased for each one is my understanding. That's correct. STCs are airplane (and sometimes engine) serial number specific. Confirm this with Scott Erickson at D'Shannon Aviation, but he's told me he did not acquire the STCs for anything except the 20 gallon tanks when he purchased STCs from Alan Peterson when Alan shut down Beryl D'Shannon. If that's the case no one is currently supporting the STC for 15 gallon D'Shannon tanks. But confirm that with Scott: 800-291-7616. Thomas P. Turner Executive Director ABS Air Safety Foundation

Still available? Do you know if they are functional? Do they leak? Do you have any more pictures? Where are you located. Do they have good front lenses?

If there is no longer an STC available your FSDO May allow a field approval. You could probably use install instructions for the 20 gallon systems for you F.A. and/ or hire a DER to sign off the install as another option. You could probably purchase the install instructions from someone who has the 20s on their plane.
