One more pirep on the Alpine MLG lighting system. Just flew it for the first time at night and can confirm they are phenomenal. While on short final the entire runway environment was lit up and clearly visible, and it was very easy to judge landing height in the flare.

Appropriately enough while holding short, I saw a deer grazing off the approach end of the runway. This at a “well fenced” class D airport.

I just shipped one of these kits and I have eight (8) left in stock before I'm out for a little bit. I am in the process of manufacturing more of the brackets which has a longer lead time than I planned for. So there you have it. Additionally, here is how the G3 LED taxi light looks like next to the G3 LED landing light from the drone.

What’s the difference on the taxi vs landing LED light option?

Taxi has a 50 degree flood light while landing has a 12 degree spot light. After trying both, I think the landing light has more utility.
