I have a similar setup with a GTX33 controlled by a GTN750 and the ADS-B on the GDL88. Works great! If you have a 750 and want to make room in your radio stack by going to a remote transponder these two boxes are a good solution.

Will the 33 work with a GTN 650?

GTX33 is not ADS-B but the GDL88 provides ADS-B in and out. I have a GTX33es for ADS-B out and use the GDL88 for ADS-B in, all controlled by a GTN750, which also works well.
Derek, are you saying the GTN650/GTX33/GDL88 will not provide ADS-B out as required when using them together? GTN doesn't have the right output ports or something?
The GTX33 controlled by a GTN650 would work with a TailBeacon or similar for ADS-B out I would suspect; although I prefer an all-Garmin hardwired interface for reliability.

Quote: Derek, are you saying the GTN650/GTX33/GDL88 will not provide ADS-B out as required Derek probably mean that this combination doesn't provide 1090 MHz. Only 978 MHz.(Out)
