As a PREVIOUS customer to Guy, this interaction has taught me quite a bit about his character. He demanded a refund by initially sending a first correspondence of PayPal buyers refund (I’m not a store front, I’m an individual seller that never pretends to be one with a picture of the actual item). Apparently GUY did not spend a split second to look at the original ad pictures of an airworthy yet albeit cosmetically “flawed” item used solely for DISPLAY and waste my time and money. Rather then deal with him ever again, I decided to refund him his $200 and not ask for the item to be returned. If that’s not shameful enough for him, he decides to air it out on this post? I also don’t know why he can’t write in full sentences. Honestly, I’m not the least bit surprised his company was fined by the FAA for failing to produce PMA parts. Some people know better than all the rest ….https://www.faa.gov/newsroom/faa-propos ... roproducts

This is Beechtalk , We are better than that , The item was not disclosed as having an issue . The item has an issue... It should have been in the description... Did you not notice the cracks ?? You were wrong, and he could have not publicly aired it either , regardless of what guys response was perceived as , and now you trash him publicly.... If the cracks were disclosed , He never would have contacted you in the first place...

If Loren had written “airworthy yet albeit cosmetically ‘flawed’ item used solely for DISPLAY” in his original ad all of this would have been avoided. I looked at the ad when it was first posted and made the same assumption that Guy did.

Guys, I mean the plural this time…

The original Ad can be seen with a PICTURE of the ACTUAL item…it is up to the purchaser to assess the condition of the item. Guy offered me a price and I took it without any negotiation or shipping cost…

Again, I’m not a store front, I’m a “guy” who had an item that was PICTURED and figured someone wanted it. But as they say one man’s trash, another mans treasure.

I already have individuals Pming me to buy this item even after Guy publicly deemed “Junk.”

Totally avoidable and very threatening on Guys behalf. I never received nor saw any request for return until PayPal issued demand. I’m not an Internet store front, I’m a blue collar worker that can’t constantly monitor emails and Internet forums…

Yes Guy, I’m aware you’ve been treating people like this for a long time.

Allen,

I think there’s certainly miss understanding on your part speculating an opinion on this post alone.

I just bought your turn coordinator and it works great. Up and running in no time. I looked at the pictures and saw what I wanted. Should I have been upset that you’d didn’t clean the finger print smudges and small cosmetic paint or fraying sticker since you didn’t explicitly tell me in the description of the item?

I hope you SEE my point.

Russell, the items ARE airworthy. I honestly can’t understand how someone could not take a second to look at the HD pictures and see if the “cosmetic” condition of the item was up to their standards before offering a price and wasting time with the purchase. It’s 2025, pictures are highly accurate and USED items are sold all the time on the internet this way.

The fact that the item is in fact airworthy and yet being used for DISPLAY ONLY, is another mystery to all this discussion.

So Loren , It is my assumption that you replaced the cheeks on your personal aircraft , because of the cosmetic issues , It SHOULD have come up in the message chain... Anyway , its a learning experience . My DAM FINGERPRINTS !!! Anyway thank you for your business ... And I promise to keep my silly prints off the instruments , If we do business in the future !!!!

Gentlemen, please! This should have ALL been private. There is not enough civility in the world as it is. Let's not escalate. This is a private issue between seller and buyer.
