Noticed some corrosion on my gear door, told mechanic who found one for sale on eBay. I bought it, had it painted to match (Ed's at HWV), and installed it at annual. Tinkered but couldn't get it to fit quite like the original. In the meantime, Ed said "I can just repair and paint your old one" so we did that and reinstalled a month later.

I paid $375 + shipping for it, another couple hundred for a strip, prime, and paint, and another couple hundred for the labor... aircraft ownership continues to be an educational experience.

I understand most people don't have orange planes, so it'll need a repaint, but it's in beautiful shape. Comes with the two attaching parts, incl. bolts, nuts, washers, etc. as pictured.

How's $350 + shipping? It's light but a little awkward to pack, so local pickup works too if you're in the northeast.
