Where it goes: It attaches to the top of the NLG V-Brace and it is what rides in the groove in the actuator closing the doors during retraction.

Why you probably need it: After years of cycles, a grove will be cut into yours. Ignore it and it will eventually get sawed thru and break off preventing your NLG doors from closing. Go fast after that and more serious bad things will happen.

Fits both welded tubular steel and forged aluminum V-Brace Assys.
This will not work with earlier serial numbers. The pin and bracket is welded onto the V-Brace on all earlier serial numbers.
