I was scammed some days ago, but I can´t believe that the scammer was the seller.
I put my e-mail on chat that I was interested to buy a GNS, and this scammer sent me an e-mail posing as the seller offering the units... Was a long history but resuming I lost $1.000 (Paypal) + $500 (Wire Transfer)

These scammers will use pictures ripped from the internet to peddle their wares. Don’t believe it.
I got scammed, then subsequently bought a unit from another person here on BT. After getting stung once I was very cautious of having it happen again. A couple of things to avoid getting scammed; don’t deal with anyone who is not willing to talk on the phone, use FaceTime or any other video call app to see the person and the item you want to buy.
The other thing on BT, is check for postings from the people on BT. If they have NO posts, or only recently joined, that should raise a red flag. Be very cautious.
I applaud the understanding and cooperation from the person I bought my real unit from.
I sincerely hope these ‘effing scammers get a comeuppance, unfortunately with the way things are going it will only get worse.
