A good friend of mine has an aircraft skin shop here in Florida and ended up with this we this is an electric prop but BT is telling me its Hydraulic ??. He asked me what it was and if he should mount it on the wall to which I said - Heck NO - someone on BT needs this prop because they are almost impossible to find parts for. The photos don't do justice because this thing looks like old new stock or just overhauled. He doesn't have logs but was bubble wrapped for an elderly customers Beech project that didn't happen.

The blades picture is not real good will send another one later. Spinner looks new. Gears are great looking.

So what is it?

probably a T34 prop

It’s a Beech 278 hydraulic propeller I believe it was built for the O470 series engines.

I had one on a J35 I owned at one time. Good prop on IO470C. Hard to find parts for.
