Iridium GO! is a companion access device that when connected to your smart phone via the Iridium GO! app, turns your smart phone into a Satellite phone. I kept this one in my airplane to use to call FBO's to verify they would be there for fuel when I arrived or to secure a hangar if weather was bad and we had to land, or to arrange rental cars if plans changed in flight, or just make a regular phone call to someone as necessary. It worked great synced to my iPhone via its own WIFI and then to my Bluetooth headset. Texting available through smart phone app as well. More info at
