I have for sale a fairly clean pair of McCauley propellers with very nice spinners and backplates. McCauley 3AF32C87. One of them is a -N1R and the second one is a -NR. One of them has approximately 306 hours TSO / 2108 TTSN DOH is 12/2011 and the other one has approximately 837 TSO / TTSN - Unknown DOH is 08/2017. These hours are as recorded at annual on 3/16/22 and they have been in service since then so the actual times are a little higher than I am reporting. I will be able to provide the EXACT times with a log book entry of when they were removed. These props were being flown together as a pair. They have slip rings on the back plates but they currently don’t have boots installed or any wiring, just the mounted slip rings. They were removed to install factory new Hartzells and came off of the airplane approximately three weeks ago. There are no signs of any leaks and all AD’s and SB’s are currently complied with. These props are NOT subject to the 10,000 hour life limit. I have attached a link that gives info about the propellers TBO etc. from McCauley. These were removed from a Cessna 310R. Looking at the McCauley website it looks to me like the Cessna light twins are the primary application for these props. I have personally seen them myself on B58’s and 55’s with both the 470’s and the 520’s but I can personally find NO supporting documentation as per TC or STC to support them being used on anything except for the light twin Cessnas. These propellers were vibration free, leak free and flying great when removed approximately three weeks ago. For this price fly them out until they need a rebuild or maybe make a great set of ferry props? $2,500 for the pair and that’s FOB Ormond Beach, FL - KOMN. It doesn’t get any cheaper than this for a set of flying propellers that are current and still look pretty decent. I need these out of my hangar!
If you need more photos or copies of any log book entries reach out to me and I will be happy to send them to you. (No I have not scanned the complete logs in and no I don’t plan to)
