My KY196 works fine for transmit and receive, but after an annual the squelch control does not work...it's always unsquelched.
The display is bright and crisp, and that may be the valuable part of this. Seems like the availability of these displays is limited.
It's a 28 volt radio. Serial 7760. This one has the ability to prestore commonly used frequencies. It has a tray as well.
