I recently purchased a part from Alan Fox. The part ended up exhibiting a problem. Alan promptly refunded my money, no questions asked. I believe this is his reputation from past postings but I thought it was worth restating - great experience.

Alan has been excellent to work with. He has helped out on several occasions.

I've bought parts from Alan. His parts and my check pass in the mail. Never a problem. If I couldn't manage my livelihood on a handshake, it'd be a miserable way to earn a living.

Same for me. Bought a pair of indicators off of their appearance in photos. Paid w a check. Indicators were perfect and arrived two days later. He is experienced knowledgeable and fair prices.
Couldn’t recommend more.

Alan bought me sushi once. He offered to pay. I ate a lot of sushi and he paid.
Next time he didn't offer to pay.
10/10 would let him pay for me again.

I’m not smart enough to have invited Alan to buy me sushi but I’ll suggest it next time. I’ve bought several items from him with checks and shipments crossing in the mail. No reservations whatsoever. He’s a straight shooter.

I don't fish, but I wonder if he'd buy me bait.

Mr Alan Fox has provided useful information numerous times to me, and has always had realistic prices for sales or offers.

He has even told me to hold off buying an item or two because it wasn’t what I actually needed.

It might be two Jersey Boys getting along, but he has always returned my calls.
