Ok, getting the itch to own a plane again, have been leaning towards the Cirrus (safety for my sweetie if I take a poorly timed nap) but also see some really nice V35’s out there, the A36 fits the bill as well, and would like a partner or two this time to share the fixed cost burden. Might even consider a 210 or a PA32R
Would like to be based at IWS, but would consider SGR, TME or DWH.
#1 criteria - Air conditioning. I love to fly, but this will be a business machine as well as personal and I don’t like being sweaty.
#2 160+ktas, I’m tired of seeing cars pass me in a headwind.
#3 cabin comfort, Cirrus is at the top here, a PA32 as well
#4 Useful load #1000min, makes for a good combo of fuel and payload for most missions.
#5 aesthetics - I want to feel like I’m getting into a very nice vehicle, BMW/Audi/Lexus etc., no beaters.
Partner profile - IFR, likes zero squawk aircraft, tidy,
Budget - appr $100k per
Timing - no rush, targeting by end of year.
PM if interested.
