Equipped with Horton STOL Kit STC # SA950CE:
Reduced Stall Speed: The modifications allow the aircraft to fly at a higher angle of attack and lower airspeed before stalling, which enhances safety and control at low speeds.
Improved Takeoff and Landing Performance: Shorter takeoff and landing distances are possible, which is beneficial for operating from short or unimproved strips.
Enhanced Safety: The increased control authority and slower approach speeds offer a greater margin of safety, especially during forced landings in unfamiliar areas.
Aileron Effectiveness: Features like aileron gap seals and stall fences help maintain aileron control at higher angles of attack and lower speeds
Damage History: Airplane was blown backwards into T hangar during high winds in 2020 when hangar lower door failed and pushed in lower cowl, plane was pushed back and damaged flaps, ailerons. Professionally repaired by Piedmont Hawthorne Aviation in Leesburg, Virginia on 9/2020 with replacement lower cowling, carb inlet tunnel, ailerons, and new trailing edge spars. Very well documented repair with directions from Cessna Engineering.

Almost certainly has the 80 gallon tanks. Would be unfortunate if it only had the standard tanks.

the fuel caps are located where the 182J I flew (with long range tanks) had them, so it should have 79 gal tanks.

My second airplane.
N2968F
Loved that plane.
The three Bonanzas that followed were cool,
but keeping that '66 woulda been just fine with me.

All the best with your sale.
