Listing a beautiful L39C. I have owned it for about 2.5 years, and it pains me to list it, but there is only so much jet-money to go around, so it's time to move to the next cool project. I love this airplane, and the buyer will love it as well, it is badass. I routinely get requests for film/youtube productions, and it is always a hit at airshows.
The jet is incredibly fun and straightforward to fly- I bought it to make myself a better stick/rudder guy, and I think I succeeded. Anyone with some turbine (or HP/complex airplane) time would be able to complete the type rating in a day or 2 (I also have a school and DPE if you need one).
Included with the sale is all the knowledge that I've accumulated with the jet: (maintenance manuals, a few tools, some spare tires, a cover, drawings, some CAD panel drawings, etc).

With modern batteries (like the Concorde this one has), the battery would nearly outlast your fuel supply. So the RAT just isn’t needed.

I did some reading. Mechanical linkages with HYD boosters so pretty benign if you lose HYD pressure. Also it has accumulators.
Good luck with sale. Love the scheme!

It’s has a main, and an emergency hyd system. It also has a nitrogen filled accumulator that will blow the gear down if you lose both hyd systems. The emergency hyd system holds a charge for weeks (allowing you to set the parking brake without starting the engine). Controls are all pushrods, unlike the MiG, so you can still control it without hydraulic or engine power.

Man I want one of these so bad.... Just don't have the time for it right now. Youngest is in 7th grade so probably 5 years out from making the leap. This one looks amazing and has all the bells and whistles.
I have a sharp mechanic that maintains my Citation. Is there a lot of type-specific knowledge required or is it pretty straightforward?
What are the intervals on the engine for HSI/OH? we've had a transformer in every airplane we've owned. Some mechanics will travel to you to do the annual. There is some type-specific knowledge and tooling. however, it is not a complicated airplane to work on, and not much breaks. the engine was overhauled in 2017 at the Motorsich factory in Ukraine. It is an 850-hour OH, this one has somewhere around 320 hours on it (I fly it about 50 hrs per year, which seems to be the normal fleet usage). It is CRAZY clean inside the engine compartment and accessories. there are versions of the OH that are good for 1,000 hrs, and I honestly don't know the difference. my advice would be to fly this one until OH, then convert it to a TPE731. you could sell the core to offset some of the conversion cost. alternatively, sell the engine now and do a 731 conversion. I just didn't want the downtime...
