I like this plane. I do not love it. UL and range are lacking. I loved my A36TN! I bought the plane in Nov '21 and have put approximately just under 500 hours on her. We've had some good trips: Seattle, Green Bay, Wisconsin, Puerto Escondido, MX, etc. The Meridian is fast: 253Kts at about 36 gph (figure Jet A is usually sub $5 easily). Some large airports sub $4... CAA will pay for itself in 1-2 fill-ups even compared to free fuel programs, Everest, Phillips 66, etc. I have booked an avionics upgrade in December 2025. The plane currently is all Meggit avionics, and I had my first hiccup. That has been resolved, but it's probably time. Having said that, it flies great, and I've shot approaches to my personal mins of 500 feet. Flying out west in VFR conditions I do not do a lot of approaches to mins. My usual milk run is to central Texas and 1000' ceilings. I do not plan to ever go to 200' mins. Has STEC 3100, GI-275 (brand new after hiccup) and a FS210. I also have redone seat belts, side window, Fuel Temp probe install, 406 MHZ ELT and various other items. Upfront, the bad attached is a picture of repairs that were done on the request/demand of Tony B at Midwest Malibu. I bought the plane, and it had some warts. Please don't call to point those out. I'm aware, and it's the one I've brought to the dance. But she flies great. The paint is good. There are several places like the gear doors where it's worn on the edges. It’s serviceable and not something that I want to down if for to fix. I prefer to fly planes, than do cosmetic upgrades when they do not affect serviceability. I'm including photos and logbook entries. Sorry I have not had a chance (posting on a weekend, when I should be relaxing) to combine the old/ new pictures. The plane is flying regularly. I've got an Angel flight to HOU tomorrow, a work flight, and then an Angel flight to PHX on Monday. I enjoy flying this and will probably upgrade and keep it, however I'm open to offers as I'd really like to move to something with a larger UL (this one is 1556 lbs) and longer range. The plane, is upgraded to the higher gross weight, which, when I asked Cutter 4 years ago, was a $90K upgrade. It’s actual parts, not a paper sign-off. Annuals have been 2022 (Midwest Malibu with Tony Beauchamp), 2023 (same), and 2024 (finished in 2/2025) Meade. The plane has 3631 hours and changes. I did an HSI and replaced a $60k stator, so the plane is ready to fly another 1709 hours. Please borescope. I have engine data downloads. Start temp tracking, etc. I'm listing because I've never owned a plane for more than 5 years. So I've come to the conclusion it’s not a 7-year itch in aviation; it's about 5.... We're asking $850,000....

I remember this plane when it was delivered new from the Piper factory. My name is in this logbook many times. Good luck with the sale.

I can't afford it... but best I don't let my wife see it, either. Ever since she watched one taxi up at MGY as we waited-out a thunderstorm, and she saw that airstair door flop open, she's wanted one.
Of course, there was that time we hitched a ride with another board member in his CJ3+, and after dinner, she asked me: "Is there absolutely, positively *no* jet we can afford?"
I answered "yes" (as in, "yes, there is no jet we can afford").
