For sale is my RV-4. I'm the fourth owner (before anyone asks if I'm the builder) and want to find a good home for it as I'm moving overseas this summer.
BLUF: 1982 kit, 1988 first flight. Day/Night VFR equipped. ADS-B in/out equipped. 165 HP O-320 driving a three-blade Catto prop. TTAF 1828.3, TSMOH 260.2 (October 2019 OH). All SBs complied with; October 2024 Condition Inspection. Hangared at KALM in Alamogordo, NM. Asking $60,000.
The engine is an O-320-A2B with 10:1 CR pistons. It was overhauled by Penn Yann. The airframe features LED landing and taxi lights in the LE of each wing, with wig-wag functionality on the landing lights. Flaps, elevator trim, and aileron trim are manual. Rudder trim is electric. The aircraft was weighted at the last CI and came in at 1012 lbs empty with a 69.72" CG.
Avionics of note are full engine monitoring through a JPI EDM 800, Audible AOA indications from FlyONSPEED, and an iFly 740B panel mounted EFB (with GPS output wired to the JPI). ADS-B in/out is from a uAvionix Echo (with EchoALT SB installed).
I have current scans of all logbooks. The plane has no known mechanical squawks, the only items that are open are some spots on the airframe that could use touch-up paint.

Can you meow on 121.9? Just kidding. It looks like a fun little plane!

An RV4 is as close as you can come to growing your own wings and flying like a bird. A wonderful little airplane.
