1958 D50A Twin Bonanza. I think it's safe to say it would be a very difficult task to find another twin bonanza with such low time and in this condition.
The decision to list our Twin Bonanza for sale has been very emotional, driven by a family of 6 and the realization that our priorities for how we spend our time and finances are changing accordingly. This is a head turner on the ramp and a pure joy to fly. I've used it primarily on lengthy cross countries, and it’s great for that. As a matter of fact, it's maiden voyage (in regard to my ownership) was from California to Ohio. That was one of the best flying memories I've created to date. Feel free to reach out to Adam Silverthorne, the man that helped make that possible, to let him regale you with the events. Located in Ravenswood, WV. $165,000. Aircraft is based at I18.
Serial DH-195 - N925DJ
AFTT: 3700 TT (ish) Engines: 550(ish) SMOH Props: 560(ish)
ADS-B Compliant
Useful load - Whatever can go in it. It’s Oshkosh ready. It even has a pee tube. No need to land to take care of going number 1. And to be honest, plenty of room in the back for a curtain, camping toilet, and voila, no need to land to number 2.
Complete logs, no damage history whatsoever. I bought the airplane from a fellow beechtalk member who bought it from Tom Leatherwood who put a lot of time and money into this plane including two boutique engines. He had thorough knowledge of the airplane’s history and it’s been extremely well cared-for. It was based in desert California until it moved to Ohio in 2022. Always hangered then and always hangered since I've owned it.
Annual is due now and being scheduled. If there,s interest in the plane, that can be negotiated as part of a prebuy etc. Otherwise I will have it annualed and continue to fly it as normal. All new spark plugs at last annual and heavy duty landing brackets (something that is heavily sought after in these big girls). Otherwise, nothing major whatsoever during annual.
Engines: Boutique Custom Lycoming GO-480 Geared Engines (compliments of Tom Leatherwood) Runs and flies fantastic. Rock solid engines overhauled by Pacific Continental Engines in 2006. Oil analysis is immaculate and compressions are great and within Lycoming specs.
Props: McCauley 3 Blade, 685SMOH, in excellent condition.
Cruise speed: Regularly see 160 TAS.
The airplane was painted with a very high quality paint job in late 2006. There was no corrosion at all found on the airplane after it was stripped. The plane looks fantastic.
SHOULDER BELTS! Front seats.
New batteries last summer.
Bruce’s custom cover for the airplane- used whenever we went cross country and had to tie down on a ramp for a night. These are not cheap. I have used the Sky Ox system.
Interior is great!

Please let me know what questions I can answer about the Bo. I will be uploading pictures from my phone momentarily.

I used copy and paste from my Debonair post. I thought I had proofread however I stand corrected and promptly made the change. Thank you for pointing that out.

I do. I’ll try and upload. It’s a bit of a neurological struggle to use an iPhone and picture uploads on this site. I will do so asap

I apologize. These are not great interior pics. Yesterday it was raining and gloomy so there was little light. I can get better ones as soon as I’m back over at the airport. It’s a beautiful interior in great shape. As you’ll see it has a couch. I also have the bench seat that allows for another configuration.

I think with this bird it's all about the hangar. Good luck to those with the space it's a keeper.
