Latitude Aviation is proud to bring to market N6033X, which is a 1979 Beechcraft B55 Baron that is based near Seattle at PAE. N6033X is owned by a BT member who is transitioning into a 58P. I sold N6033X to the current owner and he took an already nice plane and made it even better (avionics upgrades, new deice boots, engine work, paint touch-up, etc).

N6033X has 4708 TT and 821/827 SMOH. Approximately 261 and 527 hours ago respectively, the engines were disassembled, inspected as necessary, and returned to service with many parts replaced/repaired such as new camshafts, new lifters, honed cylinders, etc. Both engines were IRAN'd in 2014 and then the LH engine was IRAN'd again in 2018 in order to replace the crankshaft. The LH propeller was inspected/resealed in 2018 and the RH propeller had the same in 2019. The propellers have 656 since overhaul in 2005.

The avionics in N6033X are outstanding. It has an Aspen 2000 Pro Max, Avidyne IFD 540, Century IV autopilot, GPSS, PMA 8000BT audio panel, Aerospace Logic FL202D digital fuel and electrical gauges (with CiES fuel senders) and an EDM 790 engine monitor. At the time of the avionics work the instrument panel was replaced with a single-piece SRS Aviation panel.

N6033X has lots of other upgrades such as new deice boots, alcohol propellers, and an alcohol windshield. Other upgrades include SRS aluminum elevators (replaced in 2020), D'Shannon baffles (installed 2022), Surefly electronic ignition (installed 2022), GAMIjectors, dual yoke, and LED lights.

The cosmetics are consistent with the plane's age but the recent paint touch-up really helped the plane's appearance and of course the new and shiny boots do as well.

On the maintenance front, this plane has had a lot of solid maintenance performed over the last 2 owners. A review of the last 10 years of maintenance highlights bears that out and it is quickly evident that this plane is flown often and has been owned by caring and generous operators.

N6033X does have some repairs consistent with damage history and they are all outlined in the logbooks of course. The rudder was replaced due to hangar rash at the avionics shop in 2022 and the radome was replaced in 1997 for an unknown reason. There were also some other repairs do the RH flap, one of the cowlings, and the LH aileron in 2005 but the entry doesn't list what happened obviously.

All in all, this is an outstanding value for a B55 Baron. It is sorted out with nice avionics, new deice boots, and engines which have a lot of life left in them. I have pasted the specs below along with some photos. The spec sheet has a Dropbox link that will take you to a folder which has the photo gallery, logbooks, 337's, and more. Thank you in advance!
